I love you is a term that consists of three small words that can have a big impact on ones life. It's not a term to be used lightly. Lives have been altered and destinies have been confirmed from hearing these three words.
Remembering back to the first time that my husband told me that he loves me gives me the warm and fuzzies. When he said those three words I knew that he would continue to cherish, protect, nurture and honor me. I was more than just a date or girlfriend to him; I had become part of his heart. I was now part of his emotions and innerman and I had the awesome responsibility of treasuring and guarding that.
Telling someone that you love them let's them know you care and are there for them. When I tell my children I love them, they feel a sense of security and well being. They know that mom is their protector, their cheerleader and their guide on this journey called Life. Each time I share those words with them, the bond is strengthend and security is tightened.
If you love someone, let them know you love them today because tomorrow is not promised. Those three words can truly mean the difference between life and death.
